Scars OR HealingThere she lay, topless in bed, one arm curled gently around her hips, the other flung behind her head. Spread eagled on her back, she lay with the twins cushioned on her breasts. He stood in the doorway, leaning casually against the frame, surveying her angelic repose. Her long hair tangled around her shoulders, spilling its tresses down over the side of the bed. They were his miracles, the tiny twins and his valiant wife. The scar across her belly still glowed violet, a reminder of the Caesarean that had saved her life. Silvery stretch marks crisscrossed her abdomen, forever signs of the fact that her body was just not cut out for that. &nbs Scars OR Healing

I, Evelyth.*Author’s Note* The words spoken in my remembrances are not precise, but are as accurate a recall of the dialogue as I could fish from the dregs of my memories.  
 The steam rose from the sink where I was washing the dishes, plastering my hair to my neck in conjunction with the steamy breeze coming in through the windows. The hot water scalded in a good way on my bare hands. I never wore gloves. I detested those stupid yellow latex gloves my mother always begged me to wear. As I reached up to brush my hair back with a warm soapy hand, my eyes were drawn to the window. And there they were. There was my boyfriend, tall, lean, his I, Evelyth.

Title in description"There's no comfort in the waiting room"  I couldn't get comfortable. At all.  Hence, that line was doing double duty in the meanings department.  
I tried sitting, normally.  That only resulted in the rejected, skulking stance of everyone else.  I tried lying down.  But lets face it, molded plastic chairs aren’t comfortable.  So I settled for on my back, on the floor.  The blindingly sterile linoleum smelled like bleach and fear.  People stared at me, and the receptionist gave me a reproachful look.  I didn’t care.  I lay there, my hair splayed around me in a rainbow halo. &nbs Title in description

Hey, im back after a nearly year long hiatus.

Though i cant guarentee that my being-back-ness will be consistent, cuz school starts again in a few weeks. (about two and a half to be exact)

In ANY case, im here, ive updated, and im gonna include a few things in here.

i am not single, i havent been since october 14 of last year.
(yes, i have been with Max for almost a year!!)

i am almost 17
(wait two months exactly)

i still read pretty much more than i do anything else
(except sleep)

i am still not exactly phenomonal about updating
(whats new)

i have a facebook with more photos of me than here has, so if youre really that interested, go have a peep.

Ahoy lil sis. Hope all goes well back at the house. Quick recommendation, update more. I show off your work to people here at Northeastern all the time but I do believe I need more to show off the only one with any real artistic talent in the family. Simply put, I need more material to brag with about my lil sis with. Keep it comin kid.
